This Woods of Shavano backyard renovation in San Antonio transformed a dated, shady yard into a lush, low-maintenance retreat.

We installed a Belgard paver patio for a solid, stylish foundation and added artificial turf for a green, maintenance-free lawn all year long. In areas where natural grass made sense, we used a hardy variety of St Augustine grass.

The design also features Rio river rock beds, shade-tolerant plants, and a natural stone walkway leading to the backyard. A custom privacy screen, drainage improvements, and new irrigation system complete the transformation.
